California Order Verification & Shipping Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

To comply with California law and Bowman Armaments Group's California shipping policies, additional verification is required for qualifying orders shipped to California.

1. Government-Issued Photo Identification

All California customers must provide a clear, legible copy of a valid government-issued photo ID (typically a driver's license) before qualifying orders can be processed.

2. Address Verification

The shipping address on your order must exactly match the address shown on your government-issued photo ID.

Orders containing unverifiable or mismatched information may be delayed, require additional documentation, or be canceled.

3. Adult Signature Required

All qualifying California shipments will be sent using Adult Signature Required service.

The recipient must present valid identification and sign for the package at the time of delivery.

4. Additional Processing Time

California orders require additional verification and may require additional processing time before shipment.

Orders will remain on hold until all required documentation has been received and approved.

5. California FFL Requirements

Bowman Armaments Group Company Policy

All functional firearm frames, receivers, and unattached firearm barrels being shipped to California must be shipped to a valid California Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).

If your order contains any qualifying item requiring shipment through an FFL, please provide:

  • FFL Business Name
  • Contact Person (if applicable)
  • FFL Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Email Address

You are responsible for contacting your selected FFL before placing your order to ensure they are willing to accept your shipment.

Orders requiring an FFL transfer will remain on hold until we receive all required FFL information.

Exception: This policy does not apply to properly demilled (destroyed) receiver sections or receiver pieces that are no longer legally considered functional firearm frames or receivers.

6. California Firearm Manufacturing Notice

California law requires Bowman Armaments Group to provide the following notice before completing certain sales to California residents.

NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS

Under California law, it is generally unlawful to engage in the following activities without a valid license to manufacture firearms:

  • Manufacturing more than three (3) firearms during a calendar year in California.
  • Manufacturing a firearm using a three-dimensional (3D) printer or CNC milling machine.
  • Manufacturing a firearm for the purpose of selling or transferring ownership to another person without the required manufacturer's license.
  • Manufacturing a firearm for the purpose of selling, loaning, or transferring it with the intent to avoid a legally required background check.
  • Allowing, facilitating, aiding, or assisting a prohibited person in manufacturing a firearm.
  • Manufacturing or causing the manufacture of assault weapons, machine guns, unserialized firearms ("ghost guns"), undetectable firearms, unsafe handguns not listed on the California Department of Justice roster, or any other firearm prohibited under California law.

7. Failure to Comply

Orders that do not include all required documentation or cannot be verified may be delayed or canceled.

Bowman Armaments Group reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that does not comply with applicable law or our California compliance procedures.
