Introducing the Karabiner Modell 1931, also known as the K31, a straight-pull bolt-action rifle that was the standard issue rifle of the Swiss Armed forces from 1933 to 1958. The rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 or GP 11, a cartridge with similar ballistic qualities to the 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester. It features a 6-round detachable box magazine, with a matching stamped serial number, and can also be loaded using a stripper clip through the top of the receiver.

The K31 is a new design by the Eidgenössische Waffenfabrik in Bern, Switzerland under Colonel Adolf Furrer, it replaced both the Model 1911 rifle and carbine, and was gradually replaced by the Stgw 57 from 1958 onwards. The K31 is a straight-pull carbine broadly based on the previous Swiss Schmidt-Rubin service rifles and carbines, but it was not designed by Colonel Rudolf Schmidt or Eduard Rubin.

This rifle is a great starter Swiss rifle, perfect for collectors and target shooters who appreciate Swiss craftsmanship and history. And the best part is that it's on sale today! Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of history at a great price. Order your Karabiner Modell 1931 today and add it to your collection of Swiss rifles or as your first Swiss rifle to own.
